New IACS Safety Rules Drive Digital Cable Seal Management

The International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) has introduced new safety regulations for watertight cable and pipe transits on ships commissioned after July 2021. These rules require shipyards and owners to maintain accurate records of their sealing systems to ensure quality, maintenance, and safety.

Global marine sealing leader Roxtec has launched a digital software platform to help shipbuilders and shipowners comply.
